Event Management is for the client who has the ample time and resources it takes to independently plan their wedding themselves. While this collection is the most "hands off" planning experience we offer, we add the value of support from your wedding planner from the very beginning of our relationship together. We'll start with helping you create a cohesive blueprint for the day, and be available to you during the planning process for support.
Fancy Events' full involvement begins 90 days out, when we begin our Logistics and Production phase and Fancy Events finalizes your plans, provides invaluable wedding planning to “cross every t and dot every I”, and sets you and your service providers up for success on your wedding day. You will spend your wedding reveling in the little moments with your loved ones while our trusted team of professionals handles the details of the day.

We are well versed and highly experienced in destination weddings and events, as almost 90% of the events we plan are destination celebrations! Our clients live all over the country and the world, so we are very experienced in flexibility with communication to our clients and service provider teams, and well versed in giving high touch service and support from afar. Additionally, we have built an amazing network of creative vendors that are incredibly gifted and knowledgeable in the destination wedding industry to give service highly attuned to any destination client’s vision. Included in your full service wedding planning experience with Fancy Events, we provide concierge services for all of our clients and their guests, handling all of the logistics of a destination event from transportation services to hotels and beyond.
What is your experience with planning destination events?
Absolutely! We love planning full weekend experiences for our clients such a bridesmaid brunches/lunches, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, farewell brunches. These services are exclusively available to wedding planning clients and cannot be booked as a stand alone service.
Do you plan events other than weddings?
We work with budgets of all shapes and sizes. We know that a wedding of any budget is a luxury experience and investment, and we work hard to provide our clients with that experience. With that said - we are going to be totally transparent with you when it comes budget expectations vs. reality in all facets of the planning process. In order to give an idea of big picture budgeting, we find it easiest to think of the overall budget in terms of price per person. Our typical clients spends an entry-level amount of around $800 - $1000++ per person on their event.
What is the average investment you work with?
In order to be able to provide the best possible service to our clients we accept a limited number of weddings each year, with a fraction of that number being Event Management.
How many weddings do you take in a year?
Depending on your collection, need, scope of work, and season, we typically book 9 – 18 months in advance for all of our collections. We have – however - been known to plan a jaw dropping black tie wedding in less than 3 months as well – so we never put a deadline on planning an event.
Love knows no bounds, and neither do we! We absolutely love and are so blessed to plan, design, and produce weddings and events in our home base of Destin, Florida, and Scenic Highway 30A Florida. We specialize in creating celebrations in Destin, Seaside, Watercolor, Seagrove Beach, Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Inlet Beach, Sandestin, and beyond!
With that said, we are travelers, adventurers, and lovers of new places! With our extensive experience and knowledge in destination wedding planning, and substantial creative partner networks, we delight in wedding planning anywhere our clients take us. Jamie was excellent at assisting with the overall vibe, providing a list of quality vendors (all were great to deal with and also went above and beyond to make the wedding weekend the best), professional negotiation skills with vendors/event personnel, overall great organization, calming effect day of wedding when weather did not cooperate. I can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was with Fancy Events. Jamie went above and beyond to make the wedding weekend the best!! We never worried about anything except the weather.
